A shower curtain lives again!

I was able to finally buy the pattern after much patience in waiting for the sale to come on. Here is the finished product...

Made from my old shower curtain. Waste not, Want not :)
A while back, I used the embroidered edge from the same shower curtain to edge a petticoat.
To this, my husband said, "You are about as handy as a pocket on a shirt" How sweet :)

That's incredible. Way to take one thing and make another out of it!

Interested in blogging about family/marriage for Weekend Kindness? I couldn't find an e-mail address for you, but I'd be interested in having you write for it. Drop me a line at my blog...

Good Morning!
I came to visit by way of my friend Jewels' blog. I love how you repurposed the shower curtain. How creative you are! Did you by any chance use the same McCalls pattern that she and her girls use?

Anne- No, I don't use the same pattern. I used Butterick 4685. I'm making it up again currently, and using the back piece for front and back since its cut quite a bit higher. I'm also cutting it a little bit longer in the sleeves and body. I'll post pictures when I'm done! :)
