We spent a lovely weekend in and around Abilene, Texas, where both my husband and I have family. What a beautiful way to spend the Independence weekend! I read a wonderful book that my husband's father had- America's Lost Dream. It was wonderful to read a book from a Christian standpoint of the Revolutionary War. One of my favorite things was the quotations from our nation's leaders, which really shine a light on how foolish it is to say America was founded by "deists".
