Stark Raving Mad.
Thats how Lady Why described it, and that's exactly what I think. I was so shocked and saddened by this story. Those are 11 year old girls. They are babies. Trying to prevent having babies. And now they don't even need Mommy and Daddy's permission. There are so many horrible things going on in this fallen world, but this one really stuck with me today. I won't even get into the fact that those girls shouldn't even be *thinking* about boys at all yet. But the potential ramifications from the pill are endless. No one seems to be concerned with the idea of hormonally manipulating CHILDREN. Does anyone out there seriously not believe that hormonal manipulation has no long term side effects? The links to breast cancer, the risk for strokes from DVTs, the abortifacient nature of the pill... I could go on and on. But someone already has... it's on the package. Read the insert. It's in there.

After my last son was born I was talking to our neighbor about birth control. . .shet told me her mom died from side effects from the Pill. How awful to think about girls the ages of my own baby sisters even knowing about such things, let alone using them!! :( Praise God that this world is not our home!
I couldn't agree more. How sadden the Lord must feel when He looks upon His creation. There seems to be no end to the world's stupidity.
I agree completely! It's sickening...my cycles started when I was 11...so I sort of knew *something* (but did my best to avoid those talks!!)...but most of my friends didn't start until after that...I think the average is like 12 or 13, isn't it? So 11?? Really?? I'm not in favor of b/c at all, but I agree with Lauren...these girls are babies...hardly at the first butterfly crush age!! It's so very sad.
THIS IS ONE OF MANY REASONS I HOMESCHOOL! I CAN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT MY 11 YEAR OLD GET SOMETHING LIKE THIS WITH OUT ME KNOWING ABOUT IT.JUST SO UPSETTING. LORD PLEASE HELP THIS COUNTRY.
This is terribly disturbing! But unfortunately things seem to be going more and more this way. I'm just thankful I can homeschool my kids.
This is so shocking and sickening. Our country needs prayer now more than even before! I will be on my knees this election season, that is for sure! God help our nation.
Add that to the reasons to homeschool.
