Confession...

I sometimes shop in the children's section. Sad, but true. They have cute clothes over there... and nine times out of ten, they are way cheaper than adults clothing. On that note, I've always wanted a pair of boots that go with long skirts. All adult boots I've found either are pointy toed (can't stand it), cowboy boots (I'm not cool enough to pull that off), high heeled (just not going to happen), and finally, way, way, way, too expensive. I think I might have found some that actually meet all my standards... in the children's section. My husband likes them... so I'm excited :)

:) You must have smaller feet than me! :) My confession? I shop in the men's section...in the spring and fall, they have beautiful colors, and if you look around you can find modest fits and better quality for less $$. Just make sure your hubby doesn't have a matching one!! ;-)

My, you must be tiny! Your reasons for never having found a good boot before are exactly the same reasons I do not have any boots in my wardrobe!

Oooh... I am afraid I have misled. :) My feet are by no means tiny. I wear a 7- 7 1/2 normally, but for some reason, in the Lands End sizes, I wear a 5 in their children's department. They make up to a size 7. Strange... but true!

Just so you know Lauren Christine, almost all shoe places will work with the kids size vs. ladies size. I wear a 7 in women's shoes and a 4.5 or 5 in childrens. I agree that it's wonderful to find cute shoes in the kiddie section! :D

Kids' shoe sizes are the same as men's shoe sizes.

Alas, my feet are still too big for kid shoes. I'd need a 7.5 or 8.

But my daughter's been eying those fabulous Lands End boots for a few weeks now. And have you seen their oh-so-adorable Mary Janes? I would SO buy them if they came in my size. :sigh:
