Making it through an Icky Cold

Step One: When your kitty makes lots of mischief, remember the advice you read on a blog once, "If your kids every do anything very, very bad, don't get mad- take a picture and laugh instead", and apply it to your kitty. What you see below used to be a pyrex measuring dish. Hmph.
Step Two: Take a multivitamin... and Zinc. Eat some yummy organic probiotic yogurt. And drink lots and lots of water from your Klean Kanteen.

Step Three: Watch episodes of 'Cranford' on youtube.

Step Four: Wait for sweet hubby to come home.

And when he did come home, he brought the prettiest daisies for me. Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flowers? :) As you can see, kitty enjoyed them too.

Step Five: Curl up on the couch with a hot cup of tea, and get some good rest!

I'm already feeling much better.

I hope you feel better soon, Lauren! I'm so sorry you're not feeling well. But at least, as Mrs. Bennett would say, "people do not die of little trifling colds." ;-) How sweet of your husband to buy you flowers (and your cat to provide you with something to post! LOL!)!

Praying that the Lord restores you to health soon...

Yours in Christ,
Shannon

I hope you are feeling much better very soon! Colds are no fun, such a nuisance. I'm glad you have your lovely daisies to look at and cheer you up though. :) Hooray for sweet husbands!

Dear Lauren , I found your blog through a friend and greatly enjoy it. I had to comment on the "Cranford " series on Youtube. EVERY young lady should watch this , I can't recommend this enough! I watched the entire series in 2 days . Thanks so much for recommending it !

Lauren, are you better yet?! Hopefully your kitty doesn't develop an addiction to the sound of breaking glass - it's surprising how such a cute animal be so mischevious!

Here's a link to something my sister posted. . .about cats.
