My brother, the soon to be doctor, gave me just a sprig of his beautiful plant (he has an amazing collection of plants and an awesome fish tank), and this is what is has turned into- under the loving care of my mother, who also has a green thumb :) I just hope I can keep it alive and so pretty as it is... I hope I inherited just a bit of that green thumb.
Its called an earring plant, since its pink and purple flowers dangle down like earrings.

I love calling it an earing plant! Around here we just call it a "Fuchsia"...I have one too! Enjoy your pretty blooms.
