I was very blessed to enjoy a wonderful trip to Charleston, South Carolina with my momma last weekend. My brother moved there in May, and I hadn't gotten to see his new town yet. Since I'm 28 weeks (well, 29 now...) this was the last chance to fly anywhere for a while! We saw some unbelievably gorgeous sites- there were flowers everywhere. We enjoyed walking around a plantation home, with beautiful gardens, that really reminded me of Pemberly. :) We also walked around the battery, where the first shots of the Revolutionary War were fired, and saw many historical sites. I was absolutely exhausted by the end of every day, but it was worth it to see so much! Here are a few picture highlights...
There are lots of alligators in Charleston. Thankfully we didn't see any *too* closely...

At Middleton Plantation. Can you believe all the flowers... and how big I am?? Lol.

A lovely park with such beautiful wisteria flowers.

The oldest Baptist Church in the South... Est. 1672!

The entry to the gardens at Middleton Plantation.

And of course, one with brother in his complete Doctor ensemble... the Lord has truly blessed him with the amazing ability to be a surgeon.

In other news, Lord willing, we are closing on a house April 16th! We are *so* excited, and I just can't wait to have a room for baby to get ready. Stay tuned for more pictures... I think I'll take some "before and after" shots. Thankfully, we don't have to do much to the house to get it ready for move in- just some interior painting and a few kitchen upgrades.
