Because every sweet baby girl needs soft, fluffy burp cloths :)
I bought some more of the polka dotted strawberries I used for a project a while back, since that particular fabric held up *really* well to repeated washings. The other is a little elephant chasing a pink butterfly backed with pink polka dots. I can't believe how long its been since I sewed anything at all- I guess I've got the "bug" again! And it makes me so happy to have a growing little pile of things for baby girl.

Aww... so sweet Lauren!
So sweet! I can only imagine how exciting it must be to begin sewing for you little one!
Tiffany
Those are lovely Lauren! Is that the same type I made for my wee one? I love the fabrics:-)
They're so cute! Baby girl is going to appreciate the soft flannel! Girls are so much fun to sew for!
I remember when I was about 8 months pregnant with Maggie. I got all the things I had been collecting since I was 15 and washed them in preparation for her birth. As I pulled all the pink goodies out of the dryer I cried and cried. My dream of motherhood was coming true. Sadly I didn't sew back then so I had no handmade goodies.
I love the burp clothes. Neither Emma or Maggie have ever been spit up babies but I went through more than my share burp clothes using them as milk stoppers. : ) The joys of breastfeeding....and I do truly mean joys.
Yay! You're crafting (and posting) again! Those are so sweet and girly! If you have a shower, LD and I are scheming to come down for it...
They are so darling! I like the prints. You must be so excited getting ready for your little one! Only a few months to go!
Oh, so cute! I love the elephant fabric :)
How lovely! I made some like those when I was expecting Jenny and they were wonderful! And when she out grows them, they make wonderful wipers for runny noses. :) They're also great for holding an ice cube on owwies (just get the center a bit wet, place the ice cube in the center and scrunch up the burp cloth around the ice cube). The fabrics are darling! You will smile every time you get to use those!
I hope all is well with you!
ps)did you use a certain pattern? My sil is expecting and I think I shall make her some!
So adorable!!!! Babies are so fun to sew for! I love the fabric! :)
So cute!! I can't wait till she's here!
Amy & I gave you an award at our blog :D
Hope all is going well and you are enjoying springtime.
Jules
